I am SOOOOO curious what his polling will be next week. I want to see the media erupt if his polling holds up.

I like the whole "poor me" attitude he has.
"Nobody knows how hard this was for me, and I hope no one has to go through what I had to go through....".
When he said; "I hope...", I thought it would be followed with, "that everyone can forgive me for my mistakes and the lies I made to cover it up"...., but no, it's all about how hard it has been on him.
This guy is such a joke.

The guy laughing after "God bless Toronto" was the only part of that worth watching. Unbelievable.

I'm just glad Ford wore a poppy on his lapel. You have to honor the vets at a time like this. It's what they died for.

Ford's buffoonery aside, this was a pretty dumb comment.

Why would the media erupt? In case you haven't noticed him as mayor has been terrific for the media. No doubt they'll be shedding tears whenever he does leave office. As will everyone who isn't a Torontonian. This guy is awesome so long as he's not my mayor.

I would imagine his point was how sad the state of the world is sometimes, it certainly gives perspective. Not sure why it's 'dumb'.

That was embarrassing. And what a way to launch a re-election campaign!

Should Ford have removed his poppy? What does this have anything to do with him choosing to remember the sacrifices of our veterans?

Let this be a lesson for Calgary latte-sippers. Every now and then you need to throw in an interchange or two for the Yop gobblers. If you piss them off enough they will use their numbers and someone like Rob Ford gets elected mayor.
Joe Magliocca for Mayor in 2017!

How stupid are people that vote for this twit?
If he's smoking crack and getting pie faced while he's "running" Toronto, imagine what else he's doing. Crackheads don't exactly exude high moral standings to me.....
He needs to go away, and take the embarrassing Ford Nation with him.

How good is Rob Ford with the media? Almost everything I'm seeing right now has nothing to do with crack and everything to do with his ridiculous tie. Kudos Mr. Ford.

No one really cares about the crack. At least they wouldn't if there was anyone out there who believed him when he said "I have nothing else to hide."
Everyone knows there is a lot more to this story. If it was just "I accidentally smoked crack," it would have blown over just as quick as Justin Trudeau's admitting that he smoked Marijuana while he was an MP.
The utter arrogance of a man calling that press conference, to say he was really sincerely sorry about 1000 times, all the while coming out half an hour late for the waiting media (conference call about how many sorrys to put in the speech?), and totally ignoring all the other evidence that is the real concern in the situation.

. . . Until we all find out the crack was bought with taxpayer money.
