They had a guest PBP guy for the second period. It was purely for entertainment purposes. I'm not sure who it was but he said right at the beginning that he knew little about hockey. Mike Modano was also in the booth for a potion of the period.
Regarding the comment on Vernon he said the only reason that he even knew the name was because someone a few rows away was wearing a Vernon jersey.

Cannot believe Brenden Dillon went undrafted. The guy is a beast. Exactly what we need: a blend of size and skill. Right now we have small skilled guys and big, well... dumb guys.
