That's what I saw as well. It was a late check after the player had gotten rid of the puck.

You can argue whether or not Brown went down easy, but the circumstances around the play called for interference.

One thing I found a bit much was all the falling down early in the first period. Were we trying to draw a penalty there? Wow

Fair point that it wasn't particularly clear. My impression was that Brown had only pushed the puck ahead a foot or two. Thanks to Sportsnet, we may never know for sure.

No, not trying to draw penalties.

Could have badly used a goal there early in the game and we had our chances too. Getting a bad vibe from this game - one of those ones where we out chance the opposition but their goalie stands on his head.

Hope I'm wrong!

'Cause it was a good check with his shoulder, milliseconds after Hudler moved the puck.

I'm impressed you spelled 'inconsistency' correctly after trying for 'frustrated'!

Did you also start your drinking for the game thinking it started at 7 like me?

Galliardi was getting cross-checked like mad over and over again, and the Stemp draws a penalty?

I'm going to eat a Kit Kat to see if that will spark the Flames. Haven't done that in ages.

Watched it in slow motion...dirty hit.

1 - Head was targeted
2 - Led with his elbow and not his shoulder

That kid was very cute. Loved him shaking his head as Curtis was answering.
