With as much success as we're seeing with our young and inexperienced lineup, I sometimes forget we're still without our arguable number 1 line of Stajan Jones and Cammy.

Nope, still doesn't make sense. Cammy is a LWer and Monahan is a natural center. If anything Baertschi should be worried more than Monahan. Maybe if you were talking about Stajan it would make more sense.
For the record, IMO Baertschi and Monahan aren't going anywhere.
