I still don't know why every player doesn't try a back hand deke on ANY penalty shot

Just as predicted above, canucks D is too aggressive. Leads to a penalty shot by Sutter, who gets the puck bouncing and just shoots it into Luongo's glove.

Also, could John Garrett be any more smug? Just comes across as a very unlikeable guy.

Shoots it right into the glove, Luongo didn't even have to move. Pbp acts like it was some great save.

Unlikable is a nice way to say it. Unbearable is closer to it for me.

Hall just left the Oiler's game with an apparent knee injury after taking a shot.

"No Burrows, which is too bad, as he is almost an automatic in the shootout". Trying to set up their excuses already, After they just showed him missing in the shootout at their last game.

He was 20 percent last season.

Malkin with some slick moves. Penguins win.

Yeah, Garrett is a bad combination of smug and whiny.

Only shooter that deked out of the six scored.

Meanwhile, how bad do the Senators look? Afternoon starts can be tough but they have absolutely zero legs. Thought they had legitimate Cup aspirations this year but they have looked real bad for some reason.

They've dominated the Oilers today. The Oilers are lucky to be leading by two and not down by two.

How fitting.

I like when he complains about the reffing being unfair because the Canucks have less powerplays, as if they should be equal just because.

Maybe. They've outshot the Oilers but the quality chances have more belonged to Edmonton on the counter.

They've looked awful on the PP as well. They could still easily win the game but they'll have to snap out of it.

Well that was awkward. The Oilers broadcast was talking about a boy in the crowd with kidney problems and right next to him was his mom flicking her boob repeatedly, trying to clean her shirt or something.

Oilers get a 5 on 3 from their two dives.
