Great to see the wins coming in. Love how this team plays.

I get that he works hard but why's he on the PP? It's kind of like Comeau all over again in that he's miscast on the top lines although Street doesn't kill every single offensive opportunity like Comeau did. Team's winning so it's minor gripes.

Wouldn't have taken that shift if he was hurt, would he? Why risk further injury, or a gaffe that costs the name?
Might have tweaked something and they rested him, then sent him out to test it and decided not to risk it. I hope. He had a great game.

I've been impressed with Street. I think he's our most responsible forward. All his ice time has been well earned IMO.

I think the Flames are a far cry away from being forced to trade them, never meant to imply we were anywhere close. I believe it's Hartley's job to first make sure to nail it home that they can't be making those types of mistakes on anywhere close to a usual occurrence. If he can't (and again, long ways away from this point) then it's on Feaster to decide if it's Hartley or the veterans at fault and make the proper adjustment.
My point is, if the leaders are the ones making the mistakes and setting a bad example something is ajar. They're 4 games in (and outperforming expectations), a couple mistakes I'm not ready to hang any of the veterans yet but I'd rather they don't keep it up.

Hartley just pointed out that the Flames are now becoming a team, it's stuff like this from glencross that puts the "i" back where it doesn't belong. Just a bad example for the young players to see.

Probably won't matter to most on CP but really good game from Butler tonight. One of his better games as a Flame.

Can't watch the presser because of the lag, but that's a happy looking coach.

My Habs friend went ballistic on that Subban penalty but how many times do you need to stick a guy in the back before it gets called. Just a dumb move on PKs part.

On the fan, before the game, they were talking about how much trust Hartley has in Street. You can see why.
Great game by so many. Nice group effort.

You are right.
Would still take him over any of the Flames D and probably any 2.

- Glencross scored and had other chances, but he is lazy, frustrating, much like Bourque was
- O'Brien and Butler scare the hell out of me every time they are on the ice. O' Brien can stay as a #6/7, can't wait until Breen is healthy
- Street is useful, but why is he on the PP?
- I was against Monahan making this team...I am convinced that he should stay, best player on the ice. I saw one mistake, but he has improved every game
- Baerstchi, Monahan, Stempniak, love it!
- Joey MacDonald looked like a starting goaltender in the second and third. His rebound control was scary in the first, but got better as the game wore on. He looked Kiprusoffian at times tonight. Actually more like Hasek as he is a straight reaction goalie.
- Poor Wideman has been snake bitten, but he seems to have really taken the coaches request to play a more complete game to heart. The number of open ice hits he has this year so far is awesome. Catching guys by surprise.
- I love this team so far!!!!

No question he's a great player but he made a horrible mistake with just under 2 to go.
