Default Burkie with tie off

Not huge news but Burkie was shown (alone) with hanging tie all hot and bothered watchin' the Leafs game upstairs. Last time I saw him look like that he pulled off a block buster with the Leafs just sayin'!

I think he believes in ties but only actually ties it in situations that demand his respect. Thereby, when you see him without a finished tie its his smug, shuttle way of saying FU, I'm better then you and don't need this.

Technically, he didn't have his tie off. He just had it hanging around his neck, untied. If he had his tie off, it would be on the floor, or a sofa, or somewhere not on him.

What's Burke doing watching games in Toronto? Shouldn't he be in Calgary now? Or is his position off-site?

I would guess he still has a few commitments elsewhere before settling in Calgary full time.

So, if his tie is off and around his neck untied like that, isn't it more of a scarf?

Yep, pretty sure he has a charity commitment in Toronto. Said as much in his press availability.

Just to let you know...that look on Brian Burke at last night's Toronto game is pretty normal to him. Is that mean he made some blockbuster trades while with Anaheim, Vancouver and Toronto every day.

Paranoia?

Go on the Flames website and watch Burkes press conference of part 1 and 2. He said he had a few charity commitments he needed to attend to back east.
