Seriously, was that a grade 7 class project? They had family photos, zoom-ins from a magazine article, a picture of real wheat in case you weren't sure what the glass art depicted, somebody's house, a few random buildings, and a light turning green - not to mention a minor in a bikini.

I am putting a tour-bus trip together right now if anyone is interested.

I always assumed the Experience Regina video was "inspired" by the Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism videos, but the Regina one actually predates the first Cleveland one by six months.

It looks like it predates VHS.

If you have to mention that "Regina is a highly livable city" in your tourism promo video, it really isn't that livable.

The Flames aren't streaming it, and the Islanders aren't streaming it.

Where could a stream possibly be coming from? If there is one, why wouldn't the teams make it available?

I'm guessing it's probably the Flames stream then. My bad.

Well, if he was late scratch, hopefully it's not too bad. I was looking forward to seeing how he does at the World Juniors.

Monahan scores 1-0 CGY

Wes Gilbertson ‏@SUNGilbertson 13s #Flames rookie Sean Monahan rips a wrister over Evgeni Nabokov's glove in Regina for his first pre-season goal. Flames up 1-0.

Kristen Odland ‏@KristenOdlandCH 6s Sean Monahan cruises in unmanned and beats Nabokov glove-side. That, was a nice shot and a nice goal --- preseason or not. 1-0 Flames.

Tavares ties it up 1-1

Wes Gilbertson ‏@SUNGilbertson 2m John Tavares ties it up for Islanders in Regina. #Flames G Karri Ramo had no chance on that one. In fact, he made several good saves on PP.

Wes Gilbertson ‏@SUNGilbertson 17s #Flames are back in lead in Regina, with Matt Stajan scoring on a one-timer after nice feed from Ben Hanowski. Flames up 2-1.
