Thor, based on how I perceive to know you I'm going to suggest ....

Running with the Kenyans.

A light, informative, inspirational read. Good Luck!

Wow I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum then seemingly everyone on CP.

I'd love to be able to eat more. If I eat significantly more than usual I just s*** it out in a fiery painful explosion. Makes gaining weight impossible.

That's why I gave up on working out to build mass. I can't keep up the needed caloric intake cause every day I'd get sick from eating too much. It was torture. I tried eating a lot of small meals, a few big meals, both had the same result.

Eating smaller meals, but more often, if healthier. If you have the option of doing that, stick to it.

Honest question, how old are you? That will give an indication how high your metabolism may be. You also might be an ectomorph body type - lean, difficult to gain weight.

I was a skinny shrimp until 27, then I filled out into a body that many of my athletic buddies had when they were 18. Many times your genetics play a huge part in how your body is built, and there`s not a heck of a lot you can do about it. Nothing is impossible in term of gaining, however; for some, it just may require significantly more work.

I'm 24 next month. (#### that sucks to write)
Yeah I'm pretty skinny. Luckily I'm only 5'10 so I don't look too ridiculous. I'm really hoping that filling out starts soon cause that would be great I did kind of jump in weight and definition a few years ago but it wasn't much. I'm still way to skinny for my (and most peoples) liking. Fun part is no one feels guilty about calling out someone for being too skinny.

I also need to up my athletic activity again. It's really dropped off in the last couple years. Problem is I only really like team sports and don't really know anyone to play with outside of the occasional season of ball hockey (which I blow at). My friends that are athletic are also all pretty good at the sports they enjoy so playing them in like Tennis and Squash is pretty lame as they just school me.

I haven't done any tests for my stomach. It's usually pretty decent when I eat normally. Only tend to get stomach aches when I eat something that I know will probably give me one later anyways and usually after a good flush I feel fine again. You want to see bathroom explosions you should see what happens when I drink the recommended serving of Mass Gainer protein. It's almost immediate as well. It's like the 4th of july of violent sh*t... That was quickly discontinued from my regimen.

Any idea how much I would pay for this problem?

Oh and I'd love it if my problem was just eating less

I always thought it'd be easier to not do something over having to force yourself to do something when you don't want to but I'm sure the other side is a lot harder then I can imagine.

Polak a girl I work with had a similar sounding problem. She has always eaten a good sized breakfast. She started being late for work because she "had to go to the bathroom". We al thought she was BS, Well the 2nd half of that word was correct. She was diagnosed with IBS or Crohns or something like that. Since regulating the problem she has put on lots of weight, but she is a big girl anyway and her diagnosis was like 10 years ago so that adds to that.

I used to say the same thing when I was in my 20's. I could eat anything I wanted and never put on any pounds. That all changes when you get older and your metabolism slows down. Before you know it, it becomes a great struggle to lose it
