Nice.
I'm not a fan of Leslie, but having our own Hockey Central suits me just fine!

I'd prefer the third hour of Rome. It's not like there is a shortage of hockey talk on the Fan 960, do we really need another one of these?

Yeah, exactly. It's what they do all afternoon and again at 5:00 and until puck drop on game nights. At least with the Hockey Central show they had last year, you would get a national (ie, Leafs) perspective. Bring back the 3rd hour of Rome.

Strange move, they already cover the Flames quite well from 1pm onwards. I actually kinda liked the inclusion of the hockeycentral show from TV based in the East.
Some different personalities was nice to listen to and they did seem to try to cover a wide spectrum of topics even if Kypreos is a blowhard.
Personally I wish they just kept it that way. This seems like more duplication of existing content.

Can we do an hour before this hour on the Hitmen and then the hour before that on the Dinos and get rid of Rome completly?

This is the worst part of the FAN. They slam 10 hours of hockey talk down your throat 5 days a week. Bring back the third hour of Rome, my ears need a break

Less Jim Rome is a great thing. Get rid of his other 2 hours and I'd be very happy.

I haven't listened to the Fan since they dumped the third hour of Rome. It's my lunch hour away from work and it was how I relax. I used to listen to it in the morning, too, and during the afternoons.
Now I don't listen to the station at all.

Thanks goodness!
That Toronto hockey central garbage is terrible. Will be nice not to have to hear the uneducated babble from eastern guys about our team (the rare times it happens). Makes me cringe.

 ?
Suck it up.
Not like another hour of Rome punching repeat on his little audio clips to fill the the frequent dead air time is making us any smarter.

I dont listen to Rome because more often than not he's on about sports that I don't give a crap about or don't know anything about. Way too much college football/basketball and MLB baseball for my tastes.
I don't mind the extra of hockey talk, but I kind of wish it all non-Flames related. We get the whole afternoon for the Flames....let's talk about everything but them for this one hour.

I generally agree, Rome has no value to me. It would be nice to see some soccer talk to add to the Hockey and Flames ceverage. I gather there is so little advertiser interest that they can't even have 10 minutes of soccer...
