Not sure if serious...in fact you cant be.

The Riders are the poster children for failure to win championships.

No not serious.... Yes they are the poster boys and they need no help from the league. I just find it funny when people say the league is trying to help them win. Cause if it was true there was more opurtune times to blatantly help them win. The first part was tongue in cheek the second part was just a suggestion how they might make officiating a little better.(kinda in line with the better training of officials thing)

Yeah i figured as much.

Hard to believe one franchise can be as incompetant as the Riders have when it comes to winning the whole deal...in a league that has had no more than 9 teams(sans the disaster that US expansion was ) in it for decades. 3-15 in the Grey Cup alltime....ummm...yeah.

Argonauts General Manager Jim Barker was on TSN 1050 Radio on Wednesday morning (CLICK HERE TO LISTEN) and was asked by host Mike Richards about the status of the Argos’ man under centre. “Nothing popped out, there was no dislocated shoulder, nothing with his collarbone, it is strictly (a muscle issue) in the back of his rotator cuff,” the Argonauts GM said candidly.

Barker also reiterated what Coach Milanovich said after the game which was that there was an attempt made to see if Ray could return to the game on Friday night.

“He went down and threw in the tunnel and Scott thought it was best to not do anything.”

Though he would not rule out a return for Ray in week 10 against Montreal, Barker was unable to provide a timetable for Ray’s return simply commenting, “…if I knew when he’d be back I’d tell you.”

The one advantage for the Double Blue is the extended break between games. With no game until Tuesday, the team has a full five days off before beginning practice in preparation for the Alouettes.

And who doesn't love Edmonton's screw ups? I'm not going to post the whole article but I'll do a brief summary as to what happened with Tavoy Moore, they (Edmonton) had Moore, they loved this kid said he was going to be a star, and Reed said he reminded him of one of Pinball Clemons. He got hurt in the first preseason game against Saskatchewan, Edmonton apparently told teams he had torn ACL and believed he had one. The kid knew right away it was an MCL, in the process they decided to be cheap and not put him on the nine game injured list which would have cost them about $25.000, not against the cap either! But if they (Edmonton) told the other teams Moore had a torn ACL instead of an MCL injury in order to have Moore to themselves upon re-signing of him, that's disgusting. Exaggerating or making up an injury to scare other teams off hurts the player and his career. I might have posted this once before but memory is horrible. This part of the article had me laughing:

Quote:
The way Moore tells it, he walked out of Edmonton GM Ed Hervey’s office after being told he was being released and right into a limo sent by the Ticats that took him to the airport and flew him directly to Hamilton.

6 weeks for Ray:

Dave Randorf@DaveRandorf3m
Very tough news for #Argos an Ricky Ray. Out up to 6 weeks with shoulder strain. Was having arguably his best season. #CFL #TSN

New twist on the Chris Williams absurdity: After an Ontario Court of Justice ruling, the #CFL PA declares Williams a free agent. #40Boats

He has been running the first team offense this week, so it appears he'll be the starter on Sunday, and Pierce isn't making the trip to Regina. The three QB's dressing on Sunday are Goltz, Hall, and Boltus.

EDIT: Maybe not, as they are waiting to see how Max Hall's hand feels tomorrow morning, either way its a major pile of suck at the QB position.

As long as CFL head office considers Chris Williams Ticat property, there's no way he signs with another CFL team, no matter what CFLPA says

And as long as CFL head office considers Williams Ticat property, hard to think NFL teams won't respect that as well.#cfl #cflpa #NFL

Good! I think I would be leary about signing a guy that might decide after signing that he didn't really want to sign and try to get out of it through other means. I hope he has fun not playing pro football this fall

How much confidence can a guy possibly have given that three weeks ago he was told he was starting for the rest of the year only in turn to be told he was being demoted to third stringer. Now he is back to being the starter this week.

Not good. AC might be done for good now. Marsh looked erratic and Neiswander not the answer IMO. Troy Smith apparently a fast learner. Hopefully he gets better soon. He has a young family to take care of.

Oh boy the Riders could be in big trouble, Chris Best is on the 9 game injured list. Though the roster updates often contain errors. Devin Tyler filling in at RG, Diamond Ferri is still on the 46 man roster not sure if he dresses or not, if he does he should be good for 1 or 2 moronic penalties on the afternoon.

There is not a team in the CFL that can complain about injuries when you look at what the Stampeders have had to deal with.

Also, when you have the Bombers the next 2 weeks...there truly isnt a concern.

Really??? I just heard Buck Pierce is hurt? Kind of funny that even though he is not playing he is still getting hurt. I think Pierce is done with Winnipeg after the season. They might not even wait and just release him.

Winnipeg DLine is doing the job so far but offense still sucks and so as their secondary. Come on Bombers win this one!

Damn, Bombers offense made some tricky play then suddenly there was some confusion. Makes you wonder why their offense suck this season.

^^Bellefeuille is making a huge difference for them. An OC who actually understands the nuances of the Canadian game is huge. He's getting the offence to play something that actually looks like CFL football

Only if QBs are. Hitting a kicker is way more dangerous than hitting a QB.

Bomber D is playing very well and Durant is not having a good game out there
