That turned out to be a pretty entertaining game. Marsh drove them from his own 5 with 50 seconds left.

That was crazy entertaining at the end, making up for much of the rest of the game.
BC's offence looks like crap. I bet they are rethinking letting Simon and Bruce go over the offseason, Arsenaux can't do it all. The score was all about the turnovers and the special teams TD, if Montreal could've hung onto the ball they'd have laid a serious beating on the Lions instead of having to eke it out on the last play.

And their O-line is just weak sauce, Archibald, Kabongo, and Valli should not be starters. One is fat and slow. The other two shouldn't even be playing football anymore. Imagine if Arceneaux doesn't get cut by the NFL and came available.

I regret turning off the game when MTL threw another INT in the last two minutes. I thought BC could run out the clock then.
I still don't like how the clock hardly runs in the last three minutes. Clock management is barely necessary in the CFL, and teams get the chance for two or three drives in the last minutes. At some point, enough is enough.

Just another day at the circus in Winnipeg....
Quote:
It’s not something you see every day at Bomber practice, but then again it’s not every day the Blue and Gold are on a five-game losing streak and have fired the CEO, the general manager and the offensive co-ordinator before the season is eight games old.
That would probably explain why Bombers running back Chad Simpson absolutely lost his lid on running backs coach Steve Hladio during one of the offensive team periods of Thursday’s practice at Investors Group Field. Not long after a play ended, Simpson had ripped off his helmet and was trying to get at Hladio.
Simpson, who was celebrating his 28th birthday on Thursday, had to be held back by teammates as he screamed and pointed at the first-year assistant. Players fight at practice on occasion, but the team’s starting tailback needing to be stopped from physically going after a coach — in public, no less — is quite rare.

Hamilton are looking a lot better now that they are getting healthy. A classic Ed Hervey miscue in releasing Tavoy Moore after he got hurt on the opening kickoff of their first preseason game. He seems to be worth the wait.

Bombers actually look like they're trying to lose.
And they're an awful team. Bah.

Did Burke seriously just call a timeout with 39 seconds left? I never thought he could ante up his stupidity on the day after his challenge when the guy was clearly inbounds minutes earlier.

Mike Reilly is going to be a great QB when he gets an O line. Young star in the making I think.

What an idiot Kavis Reed is. Reilly been doing it on the ground and on the air and he had to put that senior citizen Kerry Joseph on 1st and goal. He fumbled the snap then Reillly ended up throwing an INT.
He could have stay with Reilly to see what he can do on 1st and goal.

Don't understand why Koch has to run around the end zone for instead of kneeling down and give a single. He wasted some time and ended up getting drilled.

Blow right to Reilly's head, no call. Typical Saskatchewan BS refereeing.

So I guess you can go helmet-to-helmet on a QB now?

2 straight games Sask is going to eek out nail-biter wins against inferior opponents. They don't look nearly as good on the road.
