Your statement is backwards, death row inmates cost the taxpayer way more than an inmate on a life sentence

Beating up an 88-year-old?

That's the lowest of the low that you can get. If these kids get thrown in juvy or tried as adults, I hope they get what's coming to them in prison.

I have my doubts that they will be charged as juveniles.

Say what you want about the American Justice System, but in crimes like these they tend to throw the hammer at you.

I didn't think it was racial, I figured he was pointing at rap culture, which would be as ridiculous as blaming Marilyn Manson for Columbine.

well one of them was an aspiring rap artist who has had violent songs and tweets.

I'm sorry but Manson is crazy (I dont listen to him/her) but I do listen to Avenged Sevenfold and every song of theirs isn't talking about slappin hoes and shootin *****. it's sad either way you slice it.

Their parents were probably forced into residential schools where bad things happened and thus it isn't the kids fault.

Oh wait this was the States?

what? I think you have Manson confused with someone else. He's a pretty intelligent guy and don't think that's what all of his lyrics are about.

So if someone who listened to Avenged Sevenfold killed someone your theory wouldn't apply? It only works for music you don't listen to? What about when a guy who listens to tons of country music goes on a shooting spree? Is that George Strait's fault? I'm sorry, there are plenty of things to blame here, the most obvious being poverty and the ease of access to guns, but music isn't one of them.

That's actually how country music makes me feel.

Rap promotes the "gansta" culture. What does Manson promote? Wearing black and shopping at Hot Topic?

Not everyone who's poor decides to kill people, not everyone who has access to guns thrill kills, not everyone that listens to hardcore gangster rap buys cop killer bullets and blazes busy sidewalks.

The first blame points are on the individual here. We all know killing is wrong, they made a decision to murder because they were bored, and since it was three of them I have a difficult time believing that three people with similar mental illnesses met up and decided to murder.

By saying that it was caused by poverty or gun access is just making excuses for three people that made a choice to kill because they were bored.

They represent the most evil crime their is, killing not only without a reason to, but with an absolute lack of remorse.

Are there people that commit crime because of poverty, absolutely, are there people that kill because they have access to guns, absolutely.

But in this case like the stabbing spree's in Calgary they would have found another way if they didn't have guns. whether because they were trying to earn gang membership, or whether they were truly bored, I personally don't give a crap about root causes because in the case of this crime its as near to irrelevant as it can be.

They're thrill killers, and we've seen rich thrill killers and poor thrill killers. Just try em, find them guilty with the evidence on hand, and get them out of society.

Some 89 year old WWII veteran was killed in Spokane yesterday by two ######s too.

people just don't respect life anymore
Unless something has drastically changed in the last 5 or so years, death row inmates cost a hell of a lot more money than regular inmates.
