My band, Go For The Eyes, has a chance to rep Calgary at the Grey Cup!
Hello CP!
My band, Go For The Eyes, has been selected to represent Calgary in Sirius XM's Rock The Grey Cup Contest. We are one of eight emerging Canadian artists performing in their home CFL team market, but only ONE band gets the opportunity to perform and represent their city at the 101st Grey Cup Festival in Regina. As part of the contest, we get to play the pre-game and halftime show at the Labour Day classic on September 2. Being the sports fan I am, this opportunity is pretty surreal!
To get to the Grey Cup Festival, we need your help! Unfortunately, it's a voting contest and we need as much help as possible to make sure Calgary is the winning city in the contest. It would mean the world to me if you guys and gals could go to the website below and vote for us (have to be 18 or older). You can vote once per email, per day (hope that makes sense). Having listened to all the bands now, I've gotta say it's a pretty tough competition. I liked nearly all of them. Good luck to you though. Hope you win.
