I wonder if he still has a home in New York from his time spent there.

Not shocking at all. One more jersey for the travelling Jagr boys.

With his 7th NHL team he passes the halfway mark to Mike Sillinger's record of 12!
You can do it Jaromir!

I call BS on this one... He knows, just like this past season, he'll be moved to contender at the deadline...notice his deals don't have NMCs or NTCs...perfect move at his age.

I'm not blaming him for the move, more power to him. I just question why he is bothering and why a contender would bother, unless it was for minor assets.

He would bother because he want's another shot at NHL glory and a contender would bother because there isn't a team in the League where Jagr isn't a better hockey player then at least one of their forwards.

If true, the contender should just sign him.
I don't hate Jagr, but I really question what he has left in the tank. Still has great hands and will get his share of points, but otherwise, I thought he was painful to watch last year.

Exactly what I thought. Lou flips Jagr at the deadline and recoups the 1st rounder he is forced to give up this season. A nice F-U to Bettman. If the Devil's are in contention, they keep him and have a nice complimentary player for a playoff run.
Rebuild or not, I was hoping that the Flames signed him to a deal like this and flipped him at the deadline for a 1st.

How is that an F-U to Bettman?

Gotta get a first rounder back somehow. I think jagr really enjoys this lifestyle.. Play top six minutes and 1st unit pp on a bottom feeder with no real pressure, get traded at the deadline with much fanfare, have other guys do most of the heavy lifting in the playoffs while he does his thing.
That sounds like a really fun way to wind down a career
