[Signing] Flames sign Mark Cundari (FATA) Sorry..

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed defenceman Mark Cundari to a one-year, two-way contract.
Cundari, a native of Woodbridge, ON, is currently in his third professional season with 175 games in the AHL. In 58 games this season he scored seven goals and added 21 assists for 28 points while accumulating 80 penalty minutes. Cundari also played his first NHL game on April 21 where he netted his first goal and first assist. In his four games with the Flames this season, he scored one goal and added two assists for three points. The 5’10”, 200 lb rearguard played four seasons with the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL capturing back to back Memorial Cup championships in 2008-09 and 2009-10.
Contract Terms: One-year two-way contract US $600,000 / $100,000 per season.

Why do people put FATA in the title? Second time I've seen that now. Sorry I havent been around here very long. The Flames fan in me wants to believe its because Rico Fata was a failure. But it has acronym potential.

^^ When we drafted Rico Fata there were multiple threads created to say as much. So when ever a duplicate thread is made it is referred to as a Fata post.
