He's one of the best faceoff guys in the league and a solid 2 way player. Waiting for the term but this is a solid signing. He's a good penalty killer/bottom 6 center (3rd liner).

Quality 3rd line possession center capable of playing the other teams best to a draw and that makes life easier for the top 6 as a result.

ya his advanced stats are great with possession and faceoffs as well
depends on term but he's a huge upgrade over Horcoff in that 3C role for what it brings

So the Oilers signed a 29 year old version of Tim Jackman to 3 years and they're stoked for this?
