I would be happy with a 2-3 year 5 mil deal for Bozak.
We have money to waste in the 2-3 year time frame so this is a good idea to overpay on short term deals to bring guys in and find out how they fit on your team. Same with Clarkson and a few other guys. I don't really care the Salary as long as term is 3 years or less.

I don't see a problem with shooting for the stars. I imagine he and his agent will find out fairly quickly that teams probably are going to value him below their expecations.

Bozak's agent really looking to cash in big time on a player who isn't worth that amount. Hope they get shot down hard- these guys need to get a dose of reality and what they are worth because they are screwing the system of player values. To me, he is Stajan v.2. Next thing you know, Stajan is gonna think he is worth that now or some other shmuck with similar numbers as Bozek.

It hasn't happened yet. But between the rumored 6.5M X term for Clarkson. 5X5 for Lecavalier, 6M X term for Horton, and 8X5 for Bozak the Flames need to stay far away from the top players in free agency.
Those that thought there would be some value to be had in FA due to dropped cap are in for a rude awakening.

If the Leafs act like tools and sign a measly 30pt guy like Bozak to 8 years 5m per it will throw so many contract negotiations out of alignment.
Pure stupidity, S.O.B player agents and moron GM's like Nonis.
