[Rumour] Cox: Tyler Bozak looking for 8 years/40 M

As it stands, the centre’s agent, Wade Arnott, is reportedly looking for a deal in excess of $5 million per year on a deal as long as eight years, numbers the Leafs are never going to swallow for a player who was fifth on the team in scoring with a mediocre 28 points in 46 games.

Just insane if true.

The cap hit is not the problem its the length. He will get $5 million from some team this off season, but who wants 8 years?

It does say "as long as 8 years", maybe he is dreaming of the Leafs re-signing him at max term. A boy can dream.
