I wonder if Montreal wanted Poirier. They're off the board too it seems.

Weren't a couple people using sad faces when O'Reily was pencilled into the third line a week ago, no he's on the first?

I guess the Flames argument is that we already have 2 relatively small top 6 LW prospects in the system. Shinkaruk didn't really fit.
But to me he was BPA. We can't bank on Gaudreau transitioning well to the NHL. They instead went after a guy who could be a 3rd line pest.

Well I guess Feaster drafted himself a consolidation prize after his trade with Colorado since lastwordonsports.com has Poirier's player comparison as "A more physical Alex Tanguay".

So Calgary goes off the board, but MTL and ANA haven't.
Maybe the TSN list is not the end all, be all?

Anyone whining about the Poirier pick should watch that video. Awesome.

So four picks later, everyone ranked mid-2nd round is an OK pick.
Thanks Bob.

nope, sorry... according to some posters, you are not qualified to make that judgement...or even worse, they'll post "maybe you should be hired by the Flames".
ridiculous.

This is possible, maybe Hartley and his old RDS ties knew something.

If that is the way you feel, you are more than entitled to stick to it. Just don't ever criticize any trades, any coaching or any players play from this point going forward.
Because you aren't any of those either, so apparently, you are not qualified to say anything negative about it.

Loving the banter both ways. Loving upset Flames fans on draft day. After all the crappy picks the Flames have made under multiple GM's, people still fuss.
Server will crash if Trollster goes off the board again.
Take Estrada's road and just assume they'll all suck. Crack a beer and enjoy the drama, I say.

The first clip he takes eight strides to go from his blueline to the top of the circles in on the goaltender. That is a great stride! Wow!
