Pretty much just like that Canucks list that was posted a few days ago. The work and debates have been done and the finalized list is the order and when it's your pick you take the best player still available on your list. If a team is still waffling over two guys when their pick comes out they haven't done enough homework.

Renaud Lavoie @RenLavoieRDS 1m Les Predators repêchent 4e dimanche. On me dit que Aleksander Barkov est le favori de la formation de Nashville. #RDS
For the Anglophones it says "I have heard Aleksander Barkov is the favorite pick for Nashville"

I didn't see that list - where is it?
But yeah I agree the only thing that should delay a team is trade discussions.

If rumors are true that TB wants Nichushkin... Drouin falls to 5. Any chance Carolina passes him up?

If Drouin falls to them, I could see them trading Skinner for D help.

First, we have to imagine that Barkov falls to 6.
My God, Nashville and Carolina's management teams are simply brutal.

I wanna see what a healthy nemisz can do with a mroe talented team. Hes not going to amaze you with his hands or speed but I still think he can be a top 9 forward using his big body along the boards and infront of the net.

I watched the most recent interview from tod button, and he mentioned there very well could be guys in the top 5 that no one expects. He said it will be very unpredictable.

Remember when we called up Baertschi on emergency reserve and him, Nemisz and TK were on a line?
There was a stretch of games around that time when Nemisz really impressed me in a third line role. He and Sven read off each other very well too.
Because that still sticks out to me, I'd be willing to give him another try.

Also, if Drouin slides to us in the odd chance that Carolina wants a D, is he the automatic pick?
I remember people mentioning here when we were still in the bottom 3 in the league that Drouin and Baertschi were too alike.. needed the big C more.

If one of the big three falls to #5 and the Canes take him I think I'll cry a bit. We could easily have been picking there obviously, and deserve one of the top guys. So I hope they end up going 1-2-3-4 (including Barkov) instead of Carolina getting one of them at #5.

That's what I'm hoping/thinking too. It seems most years there is a "surprise". Each team has their own list so hopefully a team like Tampa or Carolina pick a guy that is a bit of a consensus surprise and someone falls to the Flames.
