Well this isn't exactly what a city on edge needs. Hopefully this works out well.

Once the bridge touches the river it's probably going to collapse and sink.

Affecting air traffic too. Airspace restricted. Runway 34 (3-4? Don't know how that works) has been closed.

I've been watching Global for the last 45 mins, just awaiting this thing to give way and collapse, the bridge is quite lower compared to when I turned on the tv. So this is just upstream from the water treatment facility...hope these cars do not leak.

Oh wow that is crazy.

A quick look at Flightradar24 seems to confirm this, all incoming and departing traffic are using 28-10 right now.

What is the likelihood of something like that exploding? Could it be preferable to all of the fuel dumping in the river?

And its a ghost town in my building...

I was on the 117 too. Which route did you take?

You stalking me on the bus now?

Actually, after the game of bus leapfrog, the commute up MacLeod Tr was surprisingly quick.

I think 84 doesn't intersect with Glenmore any more; in preperation for the Ring Road.
Edit- confirmed on Google Maps. Maybe 100th street instead?

Sorry, yes should have noted that. I go past glenmore up to 100th and back down to 84th. Just wondering if I'llget stuck on Glemore because of everyone trying to get around the no-drive zone.

you will likely be fataed. it is normally a mess out here, but today is just that much worse.
coming straight up from the south is likely much easier than trying to cross the city from west to east on glenmore. if you can, get over to 84th on something like 114th ave and then go north. Or go over still to a range road.

to get on the north side of 84th and glenmore, you have to take 100st by heather glen which is a disaster. the intersection at 84th and glenmore does not exist anymore as ken noted.

There is no way that bridge holds up. It's starting to twist a bit.

Glenmore and 84th is closed. You could take 22x to highway 791 and head back towards 84th on 50th ave or 114th depending on if you have to be north or south of Glenmore.
