I feel like us CP Sunnysiders should wear some sort of identifying mark so we could meet those of you coming down to help. I love to put a face to a name!

Seems pretty obvious at this point. This has to go down as the biggest disaster in Calgary's history, and you can probably add High River, Canmore, Bragg Creek, etc. etc.

Put a sign near you that reads:
"The sky is blue"
Anyone who walks up and says: "The sea is red" is a CPer.

Yup. Saskatchewan already expects to evacuate Cumberland House, and Manitoba has already put out flood warnings for The Pas. They know its coming.

I am sorry to hear that J-bo. I also live on 25ave and went to see my place today but I couldn't gain access as the power was out and I couldn't operate the fob key. At least the CPS is doing a good job of patrolling the area. Seems like a cruiser is driving by every minute.

The problem is the lack of power, I didn't go through the core, but 12th ave sw all the way to 25th ave is out. They are allowing people to go in and assess their structures but they are not allowed to stay. It is extremely eerie to drive by the National and Ship and not have a soul around that area on a warm Sunday afternoon.

Actually just the flow. But with the flow comes the debris/silt.

Trying to figure out how much extra time to allow for getting to work tomorrow morning. My feeder routes are unaffected by the floods, and the NW Ctrain line is running on the stops I need. I usually leave about 40 minutes before I need to be at my desk. An extra 30 mins should do it I think, does that seem reasonable to anyone else?
