It should be added that an automatic exemption has been given to all students with outstanding Diploma exams. They have the option of still taking the test if they want to.

Thanks for that, I don't know how I missed it in my skim of the posting.
I have edited the post to reflect it properly.

I looked for one because I knew someone would ask or think of it... didn't see one.

Yes things could have been worse and they could have been better, but none of that matters. My comments were in response to someone saying we were lucky this did not occur during the stampede. If you could read (and your posting history has proven otherwise) you would have known that rather than jumping on me without reading anything (as usual).

Read my post and read your post and tell me which one is an attack.
Maybe you forgot what you posted.

I disagreed and said it could have been much worse. How is that an attack?
You respond by calling me pathetic and suggesting its personal and I cant read. again, only one of us posted an attack. WTH is wrong with you?

Just spent the day cleaning up my place on one of the worst hit streets in Sunnyside. Everyone working as a team, neighbours helping neighbours. No complaints, just a dozen guys and girls pitching hard to pump and sandbag. Despite circumstance, it was a very good day, and I feel really lucky to live on a street where everyone knows each other by first name.
Anyways, thank you for the few people who wandered down the bluff and offered help. One guy filled sand bags for 2 hours and did a fantastic job.
One suggestion, if you do not live in Sunnyside and are not there to help directly, please get out of the way. Don't park in the small dry areas and block us trying to get in and out to buy pumps and supplies. Please just park up on the hill and gawk from there.
Now if you want to help please by all means come on down, park and offer. We may not need you right now, but your offer is heart felt appreciated. Thanks again.

Just wanted to send you all my best wishes with the recovery. Wish I could be there to help. A lot of the threads on CP in the past couple days have shown a great deal of humanity and caring for strangers in the community, which is great to see. From the outside, it looks like this disaster was dealt with phenomenally well by the local government, which probably helped save lives in the process. Just seeing photos and hearing from witnesses, there is a devastating amount of damage but I have no doubt that Calgary will come together to bring it back to the way it was before.
All the best from Ottawa.

I'll see your moronic comment and raise it with a complete jacka$$, ironic considering that he works in forestry

Holy hell. Last time I saw that bridge picture, it only had a tiny chunk missing on the right side.
And that aerial photo - just......jesus.
