This morning the water level was almost 4m and the flow rate was over 500m^3/s.

I imagine it's way above that now.

In the 2005 flood thread the Elbow peaked at:
RELBGLEN 2005-06-19 05:00:00 3.537 meters 348.88 m3/s

The Bow peaked at:
RBOWCALG 2005-06-19 04:50:00 3.037 meters 724.86 m3/s

Elbow at 1pm:
05BJ001,2013-06-20 13:00:00,2.220 meters, 124.382 m3/s

Bow at 2pm:
05BH004,2013-06-20 14:00:00,2.806 meters, 636.607 m3/s

I came home to start too. Called insurance company too ... found out they don't cover floods. Yay!

If Inglewood is being evacuated will that include Ramsey that borders it? That's the area my brother is in - haven't been able to reach him on the phone to tell him to come here if he needs.

wow. if that lilydale plant gets flooded in Ramsey that is going to be more toxic than the sour gas pipeline in Turner Valley.

At my parents house after being evacuated from MIssion this afternoon. So happy I managed to get home to get my dog before they stopped allowing people into the neighbourhood. Stay safe everyone.

Im surprised they haven't moved you. I thought 4th was already locked down?

Does anybody know if Calgary EMS will need volunteers/help with the flooding? I imagine they'll be pretty busy. Their HQ is closed, so I can't get a hold of anyone to ask.
