16-year-old imgurian, cosplayer, and gamer Angeles Rawson (AKA Mumi) was kidnapped, raped, and murdered on her way home from school in Buenos Aires. The person(s) responsible have not been found.

I don't know much about it but I think cosplay sometimes involves cross dressing.
