The guy made some incredible saves in the Calgary series, that easily swayed games in the OK's favour. I really hope this kid continues to grow and impress.

I wonder, does he turn pro next season, or return for his OA season? I really see him having achieved pretty much all he can at this level, and ready for the next challenge.

Big changes in the Hitmen front office today:

algary Hitmen President & CEO Ken King announced today the restructuring of the Hitmen management team. Vice President, Alternate Governor & General Manager Kelly Kisio has been appointed President of Hockey Operations & Alternate Governor while Director of Business Operations Mike Moore has been appointed as General Manager & Vice President of Business Operations.

Really interested to see how Moore builds this team moving forward. The Hitmen are in very good shape going into next season. Kisio will be missed, an excellent GM, one of the best during his time.

Down south the Hurricanes announced Drake Berehowsky as there new coach and are apparently unvailing a new logo and jersey tomorrow morning

After 9 or 10 years of flip-flopping, location studies and plebiscite banter... Medicine Hat is finally getting a new arena. City Council voted 8-1 in favor of tonight. The city will now move to finalize land transfer, construction contract and break ground in September. Great news!
