Flames Draft Speculation TEAM 1260

FYI, ...... Discussion of the Flames upcoming draft to take place on the Pipeline Show from Edmonton's TEAM 1260 in the Saturday 10 am segment. Can be heard online or from their archives section.

I only caught the last bit, but there wasn't much said that hasn't been discussed here.

From what I got:
-Walker thinks the Flames take Monahan.
-They discussed Tanguay as a guy who could be traded, mentioned Colorado as a destination.
-Talked about Domi, Morrissey, Pulock as guys the Flames might try to nab if they're still sitting on the board close to the Flames' pick.
-After Walker said that he thinks the Flames will take Monahan, the EDM guys briefly discussed who the Oilers would then take. Posed the question, if Monahan and Nurse are gone by the Oilers pick, who do they take?

Don't forget the part where when the Flames take Monahan, Oiler fans are going to commit hara kari.

I am starting to think CAR will take Monahan. They like players that fit that mold. Staal, Ladd, etc..

Meh: if that scenario arises we pick Lindholm & are laughing in 2 years time when he comes over. If Lindholm, Barkov & Monahan are all picked by #6 it would mean one of Jones, Mackinnon or Drouin had fallen into our lap.

I seriously see no point wasting assets in moving up unless we are gunning for Mackinnon.
