True that. I'm looking at Jarome more objectively than I have, well, ever. Facts are facts, he is not the same player. And it is partially my fault for expecting something out of him that is no longer in him.

I really thought that if Pittsburgh went out I would be far more upset than I am right now. I still hope that Iggy gets to raise the Cup over his head at least once before he hangs them up, but this result is more acceptable than I expected it to be.

Stark difference here to me is coaching. The Kings are a banged up club, but they still go out and give 110%, and D. Sutter is brilliant at adjusting in game and eeking the most out of what he has to work with.

How can you, though? Whether he is hurt or not, you play the best player in the game in every appropriate situation. If we are going to blame Bylsma for anything this series, it's for not adapting to the general direction of the games.

I just reread the last 5 pages, one person said it looked good on him for backing out of the deal with the Bruins, that's it. Your original comment made it seem like it was a widespread opinion on here.

Boston was up 3-1 in that series. They were the ones who fell apart. No question Toronto had an epic collapse in game 7, but the better team won the series. And Boston never gave up in game 7 which a lot of teams would have done. They faught till the end. 8-1 vs the Rangers/Penguins is dominant.

Most fans are first and foremost Flames fans. If Iggy submits his list and accepts his destiny, nobody questions the end result. When he submitted the list and then further dictated terms, all bets were off. Flames fans can question that decision, love him or hate him.
