The passcode entry is my biggest peeve with my Z10. iPhone has nice large number areas and Android has the swipe. I hope RiM comes up with a change in future updates.

My boss got one. It is what the 9900 should have been. If you like BB and you like a physical KB along with a touch screen, it's the phone for you.

BB OS 10.1 out for the Z10, as well as Skype (yay!).
Blackberry has also announced BBM will be available on iOS and Android this summer. With 51 million active users and 10 billion messages a day, it's still a juggernaut compared to iMessage, and on a level footing with WhatsApp in terms of volume.
Should be interesting to see what the uptake is - messaging is one area where walled gardens benefit no one.

I should mention that WhatsApp disclosed that they were handling 20 billion messages per day with 200 million users as of April 16 of this year.
BBM should easily gain millions of new users from Android and iOS, so soon they might be on level footing with WhatsApp.

Sounds great! BBM was one of the things I was really missing when I went from a BB to Android. But then again...all my friends changed to Apple or Android. lol

Kik has all the features of BBM and works well. Not sure why I would bother installing BBM on my GS3. I don't have any friends any longer that have BB's either.

BBM is really popular with over 60 million users. So chances are more of our 'friends' are on there.
For me, most people I know use BBM, followed by Whatsapp, followed by GroupMe, and then Kik.
Convincing them to install yet another messaging app can be hard, so I'll be glad to be able to use BBM.

Uh huh.
I said "my" friends. No one I know has a BB. Just stating that the BBM for other devices came a little too late for me and I would suspect, many others.

Yes, it is. That's why my wife and I moved to Kik. One of the creators of BBM left BB and created Kik.

I've been running WhatsApp on an iPhone 4 for approximately 2.5 years. I really don't care for it, and it on top of a brutal UI, it's reliability has been too poor for me to count on it. Having to following up WhatsApp messages with SMS to find out if the person got my message got quite old. Same with notifications not always working properly and me finding messages a week later.
Oh, and never being able to connect when I'm trying to reply.
Did I mention horrible, ugly UI?

All of those reasons are why my wife and I went to Kik. Never, ever had those issues in Kik.

I've personally never had a problem with WhatsApp. The UI isn't nice, but it seems to work nice, which is probably why it has 200 million users.
I am really looking forward to BBM though, and think it will become my messaging app of choice.

Just wondering if any fellow Z or Q10 users are having issues with their wifi?
Seems as though if I leave my phone sit and then go to access, twitter, weather, appworld, etc my phone doesn't want to connect. The weather app will even give a "no network found" message.
Am I missing something here
