That's sad they won't be in the same div or conference anymore. Such a stupid decision by Butthead and the NHL.Quote:

Surfing around it seems that games 1 and 2 will be on Wed. and Sat. and then on Mon. and Wed.

My guess is the series will look quite similar, a few tight games and a slaughter. Zetterberg/Datsyuk can win them a game, maybe.

			Hawks in 5. Maybe 6.
No two teams in NHL history have played each other more.

Hawks in 6, maybe 7. Didn't every regular seaon game between the 2 go to overtime?

Hawks in 6. Too much depth, although the Wings are better than I gave them credit for.

Detroit very lucky to get by Anaheim and Chicago is a much better team than Anaheim.

Truly surprised that a diminished Red Wings team from last year could beat Anaheim. I guess that Babcock exposed the Ducks deficiencies or just outcoached Boudreau in the playoffs (something that seems to be a bit of a theme with him).
Hawks did pretty much what I thought they would against Minnesota.

Babcock is a very good coach, and if anyone can challenge the Hawks (other than L.A.) it's probably the Babcock coached Wings.

 Hawks in 7.

Wings kind of got lucky that they faced a Ducks team that went ice cold. When you consider Etem, Palmeri and Bonino outscored all of Perry, Ryan, Koivu, and Selanne it's a wonder the series even went 7 games. Hawks are going to be just too much for them to handle but as always the Wings will keep things close but Hawks in 6.

The Hawks need to be downed, the Wild didn't give them the run for their money, but I'm sure the Wings will.

F that noon start time on Saturday. I'll be landing in Chicago at 10:30... if there's no flight delays. Gonna get a ticket anyway, but the odds of getting there on time are remote.

Agreed. I will even go a step further and hope for a Detroit in 6. The faster the Hawks are out of the playoffs the better for Flames Fans regardless of whether you are cheering for Iginla or cheering for better draft positioning.

Train might get you there on time? O'Hare to The Loop - Bus from Madison.

1901 W. Madison Street
Public Transportation
Take the Orange, Green, Purple, or Brown lines to Madison. Take Bus 20 west. For Bulls and Blackhawks games only, Bus 19 takes you there as well. [Madison is in the Loop]
Public Transportation:
Don’t miss a second of the action! Count on Metra and the CTA to get you to all Blackhawks home games. Ride Metra into the city, then hop on the CTA's #19 United Center Express Bus from Ogilvie Transportation Center, Union, or Millennium Stations. Service begins 90 minutes before events start, running about every 10 minutes until start of events.

Yeah, there's options (I'm also renting a car, so have that too), but it's more the idiotic start time to placate NBC. Even a 1PM local start would have given me plenty of time, even if there was a reasonable flight delay.
