But I love a good first round upset...

Another shockingly bad playoff performance by Marc-André Fleury.

What a freaking awesome job of goaltending by Fleury and even better job of coaching by Bilesma!

Even if they get past the Islanders they aren't coming anywhere near the cup!

Love it, go Isles!

To me, Pens with Cindy and Cooke and their obnoxious "Pens are god's gift to hockey, so stacked, rah rah rah" fans are Vancouver East.

Yeah I don't understand why he would do that. Maybe if he was confused and thought it was an islanders player, but he clearly saw it was a ref

You can't shove a ref like that, should it be a suspension?

jannik hansen also crosschecked a ref earlier this season and got nothing for some reason.

That should be a fine at the minimum since it was intentional. Even in the heat of the moment, you can't touch a ref.

I'd suspend him. He clearly sees it's a ref and decides to crosscheck him anyway

Technically, it's a linesman that Letang crosschecked. This is going to be the best series of the 1st round. Just like in 1993, the Islanders went on the offense and tied the series at 2-2. Fleury did look bad on 2 goals and there are rumblings that Vokoun could start game 5.

That was the most shockingly abysmal goaltending performance I can recall seeing. I'm blown away by that. Just a sad disaster.

On a separate note however, I've gotta say the Isles' pbp guys are really good. They're both really balanced and sympathetic to both teams.

Am i missing something here? If the Pens get beat out the first round our pick from them is no. 22. If the Blues get past the first round then the pens pick will be ahead of the blues. If the blues lose in the first round and montreal loses (which it looks like) then the Blues pick is 20 and the Pens is 22. So all that has to happen for the Pens pick to be better than the blues is blues win first round and pens lose first round.
