Nah, she wornt sexy, sorry to say. More weather on her than a lighthouse roof, if you must know. She did have a guy on her arm though, and he thought she was pretty fine to be sure. One look at him and you could tell he believed Fabio to be the pinnacle of masculinity. He was a musclebound fellow sportin' a leather jacket with those tassle thingies hanging off the arms and a stylized firebird on the back. Many hours in the tanning booth had turned his skin the color of a well-used basketball and his haircut screamed "I want to be Hulk Hogan's stunt double".

They both thought they were something special.

			Holy, Phaneuf.......
I don't recognize about 75% of those bands you listed.

Yes, I'm getting old
I am jealous you have seen Queensryche, when did you see them?

Jeez... i want to say it was in june of... last year? haha it all blends together into one amazing blur. i hate to think what my memory (and hearing) will be like when i'm older.
and yea - i listed bands that people might have at least heard of. i listen to some fairly non-mainstream stuff for the most part and a full list would probably look even more foreign to you.
and i'm VERY jelous that you got to see extreme (among others on your list) Nuno Bettencourt is a monster guitar player

Pantera (1st concert, seeing them is really special now considering the death of Dimebag Darrell), Ozzy twice, Tea Party twice (AWESOME live band, Jeff Martin plays a killer guitar), Tool, Metallica, Godsmack, Nickelback...can't remember anymore right now. Add Disturbed to this list next month.

I went to a punk show in Medicine Hat once. That was the only concert I've ever seen and it was free. In fact, I didn't even need a ticket cuz it was in the parking lot at the Medicine Hat Arena, good deal I must say. The only band I remember was Kid With Man Head, but there were like 10 others.

Weird. Goes to show the difference in tastes geographically think. A lot of those lists are metal-tastic whereas that really isnt a big thing over here. Mainly because of all the mainstream pop poop thats constantly in the charts here.

Unfortunately I have a relatively short list.
 Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Jackson Browne (was opening for Tom Petty but I missed most of his set)
 Bob Dylan
 Willie Nelson
 Chris Smither (free in NY)
Faith Hill (also free in NY)

then of course there are local shows where just local bands play but I'm not going to count those.

It's likely we're in the same demographic Cheese. I didn't miss a show that passed through Calgary from the mid-70's to the early-90's. Slowed down quite a bit since then. Had to travel to see a few of those shows too.
