Two Staals? I thought they had a dozen or so.

Dont forget Anaheim... but i guess Kipper getting one last home win was fitting.

I hope the Pens lose in the first round. I want that 1st to be the best possible. I don't like them winning tonight, it screws us, so hopefully they get screwed.
I'm not one of the bleeding heart fans that feel Jarome needs a cup; we need the best pick possible.

Thanks all. So the NHL acknowledges that shootout wins are not real wins.
That's really stupid.

The new ROW rule screws over the Flames bad. We need a higher pick more than they do.

Carolina is -27 (or -29 as of right now), we are -35 (0-3 shootout = -3). We finish 26th. I don't see why people think we finish 25th?

We had less shoot-out wins...

Not really, both of those teams were unlucky while the Flames scored on the 1 opportunity they got every period.
I call those undeserved wins, hence, garbage wins

They could draft a potted plant and put it in goal and it'd still be more solid than what they've got now.

No, just that winning in OT takes precedent over winning in a SO.

3 Staals! They're one away from a full set of Staals. Or 'market', as it is commonly referred to.

Meanwhile, the refs could not be doing any more than they are to make sure the Wild win.

And to think that I stayed up for this ####, still full of hopes 30 minutes ago when NSH were ahead and CAR was tied ... useless. Seeing those teams finish behind us really hurts, they should have finished way ahead of us in terms of talent. What does this franchise have to do to get a top 5 pick just ONCE? Now watch the Coilers win the lottery and us drop to 7th. Wouldn't surprise me at all with our luck.
Seriously pissed right now. Should have gone to bed instead and wake up to the expected results, but now of course I got my hopes up after how things were looking in those games after 40 minutes. AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
