Would like to know who has said that drafting in the top 3 would suck? Every fan knows what would be best going forward, but as an organization, you can't go and tell your guys to go crap the bed. You just can't do that. You would lose all respect if word came down that Feaster actually told the guys to lose on purpose.

Also, what purpose does it serve a guy like Sarich or other veterans who won't be here past next season to embarrass themselves and lose on purpose? What do they care if the Flames pick 2nd or 7th?

Pride is a big thing and these players aren't going to throw it all away and I'm okay with that.
