He's such a cry baby and a whiner it's sickening. I was sitting pretty close to the ice against Minnesota and he'd show frustration at the smallest play. His new name should be cryface.

Lindholm vs Monahan is a legit debate but Flames fans cheering for the meaningless wins pumping him up is a little extreme, there isn't one scout out there who has ranked him higher than Barkov and MacKinnon.
He's a very solid looking prospect but neither of his linemates broke 40 points this year, he's not in the same category as the elite guys at the top of the draft for a reason.

That was quite the embellishment by Emmerton. Definitely a penalty on Gio but the thrust forward on the way down was a bit much.

I'd take Monahan over Barkov.
I have a bad feeling that the Flyers will pick him though, and they'll add to their already ridiculous Center depth.

Attaboy Wideman. Push the Wing on top of Kipper... twice!

If Nurse is there when Philly picks, no way they pass him up.

Really? I like Monahan a lot but i would take Bakrov over him easily. What Bakrov has done at his age in Europe is incredible. No way the Flames should pass on him if he was available. Only if Drouin was still on the board then i would pass on him.

If we win this game, there's little chance we pick top 4.
In that case, Lindholm is my choice.

Is it really that quiet in the Dome? Was expecting a Kipper chant at the very least

Nurse will take quite a while before he makes his NHL debut. Lindholm could play in a year.

Boy do the Wings ever suck. They haven't had a good scoring chance since early in the first period.

This game is super depressing. Flames looks just slightly less crappy then Detroit. One little flash of brilliance but otherwise it's like watching a 2007 Minnesota Wild intersquad game.
Re: Monahan vs. Barkov the Flames will have their own opinion anyway which is way more educated than any of us... whoever they want their odds of getting them go down with every win. The bottom line is that while the fight is admirable every win right now is a real kick in the nuts.
