Jean-Denis Rouillon, a sports medicine professor from Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Besancon in France, took on the weighty task of studying the effects of bras on women's breasts. After 15 years, he found that the garments do nothing to prevent breasts from sagging — and may even increase it.

If it's all the same, I'd rather they at least look perky when the bra is on.

The goal needs to be to maintain natural young boob perkieness as long as possible. Bad fake boobs are gross specifically cause they're too perky.

I agree, but what I'm saying is that if boobs will droop regardless of wearing a bra then our options are as follows:

1) Women don't wear bras
When they are naked they have droopy boobs
When they are out and about on a summer day wearing a low cut top, their boobs ar still droopy, and we don't even get to see nice cleavage

2) Women do wear bras
When they are naked they have droopy boobs
When they are out and about on a summer day, they're wearing a bra to push those babies up and thus we are all treated to some lovely cleavage

Clearly option 2 is the FAR superior option.
So even if bras don't stop boobs from drooping, women should definitely keep wearing them.
