Okay.

You do realize he's in the middle of a major media press conference, right?

Maybe if Sutter gave him more money at the time maybe he wouldn't pout as much and take periods off.

What do you expect?

Do you think Feaster is going to come out and say "we plan on being a gutter team for the next 3-4 years"

The team MUST show confidence in its players and set a goal regardless if they really think its attainable or not. No one gets excited over setting a goal to finish 28th.

Some of you guys take this stuff way to literally.

Doesn't want to dictate to Johnny Gaudreau what they want him to do. Want him to feel comfortable and ready to go pro, then they will sign him.

You don't know he's going to not waive it.

Take the calls and see what's out there. If the offers are starting to blow you away (and you feel like you leverage other teams against each other to up them), you tell them you got to talk to the player first and discuss it with Glencross. If he's no way I'm moving, nothing lost.

Grew up together in the same area of NJ. As you can imagine, the hockey community outside of New England and Minnesota is very small and very tight.

I can no longer defend ownership.
Why does Feaster have to say every little thing? Why is he so chatty?

Now all GMs know our plan.

This team needs a new owner, president, and general manager. Unbelievable.

I hate the team that is making short-sighted moves to try to be better tomorrow, instead of a couple years out.

He did take the calls and for all you know, he received offers for Glencross. You can't simply say he refused to hear offers because that's not what Feaster said. You're basically implying that Feaster picked up the phone heard "So, would you consider moving Glencross" and stopped the conversation immediately. That may have been the case but Feaster didnt say that! It could have been "Hey Jay, would you consider so and a pick for Glencross" and Feaster says "you know, we're just not in a position to move him right now."
