Fuuuu, why did I say that. Clock hits 2 minutes left, i type that and the Avs basically appear to try to lose.
I agree on mackinnon or drouin. Best scenario would be trading down a slot to the avs, getting mackinnon and another asset.

Even with their fewer games remaining, if Florida goes .500 over their last 11 (?) I think they finish ahead of us.

Actually I had a brain-fart and was wrong. Division leaders draft only ahead of better Division winners, the Conference Finalists, Cup Finalist and Cup winner (which aren't exclusive). It's why Florida drafted so late last year.

Jones is from Colorado. And they need D help.
If the Avs don't have the first pick, I bet they trade for it. They will be going all in for Seth.
That's why it would be awesome to win the lottery - trade the pick to them and 'settle' for MacKinnon
