Default RDS: Iginla wants to sign an extension with the Pens

Renaud Lavoie ‏@RenLavoieRDS 56s Jarome Iginla first choice is to sign a extension with Penguins. If not possible, Kings are a strong option. #RDS

Wouldn't surprise me if they don't win this year.

Garbage.
Some schlub asked him in the original press conference, and he deflected as only Iginla can (no without saying no).

I don't think much has changed in 48h, nor has Pittsburgh's cap situation.

I'm sure he's itching to leave Crosby and Malkin to get back to this abortion.

Should have put some conditional picks in the deal if the Pens won the Cup or re-signed Iginla. Too bad...

Screw Iggy and the Pens. Hope they get bounced in the first round.

Would love to hear how they are doing that with their cap issues.

Ugh.

Somebody likened the trade to your GF leaving you for that younger, richer DB and seeming much happier for it.

Now she's moving in and hoping to get married.

Except you can move on and be happy too. Stop pining over the past, it's gross. You get three days of drinking, and then you need to start being a man again.

Just like any breakup, the hardest part is the 24 hour window once you end it. Now clearer heads prevail and I do not want Iggy back. I do not see anyway he can help this team at this point in the teams build + I would rather see him succeed somewhere else as arguably the greatest image/face of the NHL after Syndey.
In 3 years - the time I believe this team will be real deep with young talent and around the same time Iggy retires, we bring him on board with the Conroys/Gelinas.

And then, to take the analogy to its inevitable conclusion, you start hanging out at the local high school looking for a teenager to bang.
