Isn't the only Romo win has in the playoffs against #5 and the Eagles?

He wont even ask for anything more than 25 IMO..otherwise he will be playing on a very poor team because of the lack of other quality playmakers they would be limited too.

And they cant offer ownership...the team is owned by fans.

And there it is, finalized, confirmed. RT @caplannfl: So Kolb gets a 2-year, $13 million max deal with the Bills, per source.

Seattle/OAK trade official...a 5th round pick and condtional pick for Flynn.

Seattle saves $5.25 m of cap space.

Oak to trade Palmer likely to ARI for a similar pick.

Interesting to see who Seattle lands as a backup. I don't think they'll use the read option any more then last year (which wasn't as much as SF), but still a QB with some mobility is likely moreso than a Flynn, and of course, a lot cheaper.

The Jets have a mobile backup QB available.

49ers trade for Colt McCoy (for a late round draft pick).

NFL network is reporting that there are 4 current NFL players who are considering coming out together.

I hope they do.

Not so fast, my friend!

No Truth To Ayanbadejo's Claim Of Four NFL Players Coming Out Soon

Quote:
After repeating his claim to Thomas Roberts on MSNBC this morning, Ayanbadejo appeared on CNN this evening. Anderson Cooper asked him if he knows these four players. Ayanbadejo's response:

No, actually, what it is is, is there are organizations I'm in contact with, and there are individuals I'm in contact with and collectively we know of some gay players...What we want to facilitate is getting them all together so they can lean on each other, so they can have a support group. And potentially it's possible, it's fathomable, that they could possibly do something together, break a story together.

Ravens close to signing Rolando "#### Y'All" McClain. If only the Ravens got DHB and signed JaMarcus as a backup they could have scored all the former 1st round Raider busts available.

The New England Patriots on Wednesday signed Pittsburgh Steelers restricted free-agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to an offer sheet, a league source said.

If and when Rolando McClain signs with Baltimore he would be on a short leash. Also, Harbaugh won't tolerate any bad attention he might bring, he's a no nonsense guy

The thinking on Rolando McClain, if Ravens sign him, is it would be a small investment. All hinges on his approach to football, life.

I still don't think the United States is ready yet. Things have changed a lot. However, if I was a gay player, I wouldn't feel comfortable coming out of the closet just yet. The media attention will probably be unbearable. Also, we have all been to football games. Alcohol and emotion don't seem to mix too well. Can you imagine the abusive language at these players going up the tunnel if they happen to drop a pass or miss a block?

Someday it will happen. Jackie Robinson would have had a much tougher time than what the first openly gay player will ultimately have. However, Jackie Robinson was hand picked because of his personality and baseball talent. They knew he would perform under pressure and that he wouldn't retaliate. The first openly gay player cannot be hand picked. It's a personal decision to come out of the closet. Jackie Robinson couldn't hide the fact that he was African American.

Alfonzo Dennard sentencing today...he got 30 days in jail. Will be available to the Pats this year.

New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard was sentenced Thursday to 30 days in jail, beginning on March 1, 2014, and two years of probation for assaulting a police officer outside a Lincoln bar last year. Dennard apologized to his coaches, supporters, police and his family and promised to abide by the terms of the probation at his sentencing hearing.

In court, Dennard apologized to his coaches, supporters, police and his family and promised to abide by the terms of the probation. He declined comment after leaving court.

After the first person or two does come out, it will slowly become a smaller and smaller issue. The first one though, will have to have very thick skin and be willing to put up with constant media attention.
