Only if you enjoy terrible defence. That was like an All-star game.

Just seeing Iginla on the ice with both Malkin and Neal just makes me so freakin' giddy.

An All-star game without any all-stars.

Aren't concussions caused by the brain hitting the skull, usually by rapid deceleration? Can a puck hitting you in the face cause this?

Didn't a puck to the face cost Pronger his career?

The energy of the puck could definitely rattle your skull.

The saddest part was how Hartley was happy with the effort. If he was happy with that effort then it's no wonder we suck.

I dunno. I'm going by what a friend who does MMA told me. I profess absolutely no knowledge on the subject.

Does Crosby already have the Hart wrapped up, even if he misses extended time? I doubt anyone catches him in points even with 15+ games left.

Edit: Stamkos would I guess, but they're not giving him the Hart for missing the playoffs.

Yes. The whiplash from the reaction or fall can also rattle the brain.

I didn't actually see the shot, but are you serious? People get concussed from a fist to the face. Pretty sure a puck could do some damage

If it's just a few lost chiclets and some stitches I can't see Crosby out too much past Tuesday.

I thought it was a good effort.

A few bad giveaways and every good chance the BJs had they buried.

It happens.

It looked like his teeth took most of the impact on the shot. Missing a few teeth. Maybe a broken jaw... He'll probably miss a few games at the least.
