Like I've said in the past, I really like McGrattan and I hope he stays. The guy will fight a bear for any team mate and doesn't mind going to the ugly places to get goals. If we have a team full of younger kids, McGrattan is the perfect baby sitter.

Being sent to the minors is a demotion. Hard to see how a guy who's been with the big club all year would perceive a stint in Abbotsford as a shot in the arm. He's a kid defenceman. He's gonna have some ups and downs.

I loved the video they showed of Iggy scoring his first goal in the playoffs against the Hawks, Theo comes in to hug him and his face is in Iggys chest, LOL.

Probably true, but that kind of thing doesn't need to be said. Also, I'm sure that's what the media felt about Ottawa 2 seasons ago. Quick rebounds DO happen.
