We need to get a good deal for J-Bo, we need to. Retain salary if you have to, 1st and solid prospect is a must.

Why would Bouwmeester waive his NTC to go to a non playoff team?

Are there players on these teams that Bouwmeester can fetch without a first attached? Say Berglund, Ryan, Coutourier, Filppula and the likes. Like people are saying, you can't just offload eveyone for picks and prospects but maybe a bouwmeester trade can bring some proven NHL talent.

We don't want proven NHL talent, we want future NHL talent.

For the last few weeks LeBrun has been saying St. Louis and Detroit are the ones going hardest after Bouwmeester.

Bob Mckenzie last night also said any potential return for Bouwmeester would be more significant than Iginla. So yeah, I'm excited.
This is me right now:

No kudos to this team - it was painfully obvious things needed to change 2 years ago and this franchise was too stupid/cowardly to do anything about it.

You don't get kudos for being dragged kicking and screaming into something that has been obvious for YEARS.

More like shame on the team for playing blind, deaf, and dumb to the plight of the organization.
