The other part of it, I don't expect Boston to be pulling any punches by scratching players they might be trading. These guys are fighting for home ice in the playoffs right now, this is big and they can't afford to hold back anything, even if it means not getting Iginla, which is not a guarentee.

I'm actually mentally preparing myself for an extremely underwhelming return, that way I'm not disappointed when it does happen, and if it doesn't happen and we do get an acceptable return, I'll be more ecstatic than I would have been had I not prepared myself. But let's be serious, I think there's a greater chance of it being an underwhelming return than a return at or above everyone's expectations.

I'm really sad that it doesn't look like Calgary will be able to give Iginla a proper send off.
I may be in the minority, but I hope he signs with the Flames again in the off season. As of now, it looks like he is as good as gone for this season.
