Weisbrod wasn't even with the Flames for the draft. Feaster has spoken about Gaudreau trade value before.
I don't see any reason why Gaudreau would be involved in the Iginla trade. But is don't think he is untouchable.

If the Flames trade Gaudreau i'm going to lose it. The guy has way too much upside to even think about trading. He should 100% be untouchable.

I think Weisbrod's extremely high on Gaudreau, but I don't think he's a feather in his cap because Weisbrod came into the organization after Johnny was drafted.
But I agree. I'm pretty sure Gaudreau's an untouchable at this point.

According to one of the threads on here (I've lost track) there's a trade to be heard round the world in the works.
I'm not sure Seguin is good enough for that, so if true, then Seguin could definitely be in play!

Also, why on earth would it make sense to package Gaudreau with Iginla? What's the point? Iginla is already expensive on his own, why would somebody want to make that package even more expensive?

Iginla is too old and too slow for Pittsburgh style of play. Besides, they already picked up a winger this afternoon. Most likely place for Iginla is Boston.

Thanks for the clarification, I always thought the Boston connection brought Gaudreau to Calgary.
