I'd say that's why it's so well known that they dive as often as they do, because they try to dive when no contact actually occurs. At least when they use to dive after some form of contact they would get the benefit of the doubt from the officials most of the time.
I agree it wasn't a Vancouver dive, but to me it really doesn't matter. Embellishment is embellishment, regardless of how far a player takes it, it is pathetic and a detriment to the game.
