Which servers are you guys on? Because I want to play this game. I'd like the game to at least let me play uninterrupted by server crap or game-breaking bug crap. My Origin ID is GoTron88.

Ugh I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship where I want to love the game, but the game keeps beating me in places where the bruises won't show in public.

I couldn't really play all weekend on Evening Wood. All of a sudden my city kept needing to get rolled back time and time again. Ever since the Great Work construction started.

I was sending all this Alloy, Metal and Oil to the Airport but the numbers would jump all over the place. I'd log on and it'd be at 1,270 tons of Alloy out of the 1500 required, then 5 minutes later suddenly it was down to 600 / 1500, then up to 980 / 1500 and then I'd get the message about my city needing to be rolled back or abandoned.

Haha, sorry to frighten you. If it matters, I was able to play again this evening with no syncing issues that caused rollbacks.

Also, when I logged off just now I was greeted with a window from Origin letting me know I could select my free compensation game. Deadspace 3 is downloading right now.

Holy frack, if Standup comedians did acts based around video games Sim City would be at the top.

Everything and I mean everything about this release is a complete disaster.

At this point they might as well issue refunds to everyone that bought the game, and take all disks and media and bury it in the desert ala the ET game for Atari I think. Pretend it never happened and start at square one.

Games come out flawed, that's the truth, and the shame, but I have never seen a game that is flawed in every single area going from the design concepts to the execution to the platform.

What a sad way for a great franchise to die.

Maybe not, but I think that because of the level of stink around this one, the name is a bit polluted. I doubt we see another SimCity for a lot of years.

the smart move for EA would be to try to sell the property to another publisher and distance themselves from it.

My guy tells me that its going to be hugely expensive for them to fix this game and remarket it.

I have friends out there that are furious around this game.

It could go that way, or they could abandon their DLC/microtransaction plans and instead focus on getting SimCity VI out.

SimCity still has a great legacy. It's EA's reputation that's in shambles.
