I vaguely remember in the past the flames would exchange unused flames tickets for hitmen tickets. I am sorry but I don't recall if it was a STH deal or if they have something like that still going. Might not be an option you are looking for but if it is still ongoing you could always trade them and donate the hitmen tickets (that is if they are still playing...I think the season is almost over).

No idea, but good for you for asking for the sake of trying. You don’t ask you know you wouldn’t get squat. Only saying this because I am expecting an onslaught of interesting posts.

You forgot you had tickets? Please tell me you weren't sitting in your living room watching the game.

I guess that is somewhat reasonable. It would have made the story so much more hilarious if you were at home watching the game, thinking "Gee, I feel like I"m supposed to be somewhere." In fact, that is the story I'm going to stick to.

I don't understand why you deleted your original post and asked us to close the thread. It seems to me to be a valid question. I know I have missed Hitmen games; but I also know my recourse on that.
I would be quite curious to find out if there is anything they might be willing to do for you.

I've done this before, forgot that I had tickets and realized at the end of the first period. It didn't hurt as much when they eventually lost the game and it was against the Wild.

Just texted my ticket rep. Will report back when she lets me know the policy.

Case by case she said. No policy in stone.
But think about it. They never sell out Hitmen games, so even if they just gave you a couple seats, your probably gonna buy a beer and a hotdog anyway. So it wouldn't cost the team anything to fire you a few hitmen vouchers.
Just call therm and say you were a dumb ass. Is there anything you can do. Worst thing they can say is no.

Sucky game to miss... :/ But sounds like if your honest and a little self deprecating about it you may get something.
A bit of an aside, cause this isn't quite the same situation, but in cases where the company screws up and you want to get something in return from them to rectify the situation a lot of people act like total asshats when talking to those in the customer service area. From working on the one side, and having success in the other, this is the wrong approach. Be understanding, upbeat, and funny if you can. There people hear from ornery people all day and just want a break. You get a lot more bees with honey instead of vinegar and all that.

On a side note, changing the thread title to delete is a great way to get people to click on a thread.

Valid question imo.
The MJ Warriors have always had two rain check nights a year, you take your unused tickets in and get a seat for that game for a couple bucks. It's not much but it's better than throwing them in the trash.
Probably a lot harder to do when your at capacity and the NHL doesn't give anything away for free, but worth asking.
