I think that if it is done right (like Nashville's home jersey), yellow will look good as a base jersey color for the Flames

Bring back the 04's we all know and love, this vertical tubing and the flag shoulder patch combo needs to be gone. I'm all for being proud of where you come from but the Alberta Blue clashes against the red and for some reason the Canadian flag looks kinda cartoonish. Snorting snot horse may have been a bad main logo but as far as shoulder patches go it was pretty prime.

It would be epic some of the designs they would come up with.

That would be cool. The Islanders did that this season.

I like the idea of doing white retros. If Iginla is back, I think that's the only jersey the franchise has had that he has not worn. The Leafs used to have white thirds so why not?
Also, as for the above comment about the NHL letting teams wear a retro 4th jersey. Why does the NHL allow the Kings to do it?

The pedestal jersey was involved in way too many bar fights to remember man.
F'n rights, bring the muskets or young guns or ready rifles.
I won't stop cheering for the Flames.
Horse snot is probably tasty.......

New third jersey? Yup that sounds about right. Get everyone in the city to shell out $400 for new jerseys, hold a press conference where KK announces that the team is still making money hand over fist and therefor there is no need to change the on-ice product. Everyone is happy. Oh wait, I forgot that the Flames won last night so now everyone is back to thinking they will be in the playoffs and that the team is great and no changes are needed.
Bah... sorry, just a bit grumpy this morning.

Just so long as people stop wearing Ronald McDonald jerseys. It's embarrassing to see those.
And yes, the "authentic" maroon ones are just as bad as as the yellow and red knockoffs.

Make sure you get a NMC put into the deal. Shouldn't be hard to get.

I liked the white jersey from the 80's era a million times better than the reds. The whites were the home jersey, they are the ones that are memorable to me as I never saw the flames play in the reds except on TV.
Didn't like the "retro" reds back then and still don't.

When did the Flames switch from wearing the whites at home to the reds? Didn't the Flames win the cup away with whites?
